Job Description

Project Manager with Retail

Location: Dallas, Remote is fine.

We need Retail PM with Global Supply Planning and demand Planning tools(o9 or Blue Yonder) experience

The Project Manager- Retail IT is responsible for the management and the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of enterprise wide projects and for minimizing the company's exposure to risk and managing scope across multiple projects. An important objective of this position is to continually seek to capitalize on opportunities to drive operational efficiencies and increase customer satisfaction while deepening and leveraging vendor relationships. To this end this individual tactfully communicates sensitive information and confronts issues openly and quickly. Must have experience with deploying solutions to retail stores on a large scale.
Responsibilities
Manage projects typically across multiple business units and deliver results of a very material nature.
Projects delivered in accordance with LS&Co's Project Management life cycle and are measured against corporate and project goals and objectives and customer satisfaction.
Developing and maintaining project plans and timelines.
Accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget and meeting the strategic business and technical requirements.
Maintain and track project risks and issues, manage risk mitigation plans, escalate in a timely manner, communicate to appropriate parties, and drive to resolution.
Manages to and achieves revenue goals set for projects.
Able to lead any team in a cross functional project to ensure communication and alignment toward project goals
Manage projects budget changes where necessary.
Provide expertise to internal teams and task forces and complies with and enforces standard policies and procedures.
Define project scope, objectives and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with business owners and stakeholders.
Works with other Project Managers, anticipates project needs and proposes alternative business solutions.
Coach, motivate and supervise project team members, other project managers, consultants, and vendors and manage them toward positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Working knowledge of various project management methodology, experience delivering projects to retail stores.
Plan and manage projects through all phases of the project lifecycle.
Negotiates contracts and rates.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Responsible for the delivery of proposals, project plans, resource plans, progress reports and presentations to upper management.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Manage the day-to-day project activities while utilizing the knowledge of subject matter experts, manage both vendor and internal resources, and keep the teams focus on the intended objectives to deliver the project.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Proactively work towards a solution when business problems are presented.

Other Functions:
Possesses cross-enterprise knowledge base of the company's suite of products.
Raises our visibility through involvement with vendor organizations.
Offers expert knowledge in Retail delivery

Qualifications

Education/Certification:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related eperience. 8 years of a experience is a plus
Required Knowledge:
Demonstrated detailed knowledge of delivering solutions to retail stores
Knowledge of project management methodologies.
Strong experience managing Retail IT projects
Knowledge of Retail Functions- IT, Distribution, Marketing, Supply Chain, Merchandising, etc.
Knowledge of IT Infrastructure technologies like Networking, Telco, Servers, Databases, Operating Systems, Firewalls, etc.

Experience Required:
5 years of experience developing and maintaining project plans and timelines
3-5 years of leading Information Technology projects
3-5 years of leading Retail projects
Skill and Ability:
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and project planning.
Intimate working knowledge of the SDLC.
