Job Description

We are looking for Cust Svc Specialist (Webcam interviews) (Local to DC/MD/VA candidates ONLY)
POSITION DESCRIPTION
DIRECT CLIENT Position
Number of positions: 1
Length: 11 Months +
Location: Washington DC 20024
Immediate interviews Webcam interviews ONLY
Please note that this position requires candidate working ONSITE.
Customer Service Specialist
The position is located in the Office of Resources Management within the Customer Service Group. The employee is responsible for greeting walk-in customers and processing paperwork.
Education/Experience
Minimum of a high school diploma
Minimum of 1 year of customer service work in an office environment
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Processes paperwork and ensures compliance.
  • Responds to telephone/walk-in inquiries from a variety of sources on routine matters; refers more complex matters to the supervisor or other staff as appropriate. Directs callers to the appropriate personnel as well as answer questions related to all products and promotions and the rules thereof.
  • Receives, sorts, logs and distributes incoming mail. Attaches pertinent background information, reports and other documents as necessary.
  • Uses various software programs and automated systems to prepare a variety of documents.
  • Maintains files and controls documents to ensure that the status of assignments is tracked and that work is completed in a timely, professional manner.
  • KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE POSITION
    1. Knowledge of and the skill to use Microsoft Word, Excel and other software to prepare documents, input data, compile and generate reports, and monitor administrative controls.
    2. Demonstrated knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation sufficient to compose routine correspondence.
    3. Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to maintain a professional, effective relationship with co-workers and customers.
    Candidates must have ALL the "Required" skills in order to be considered for the position.
