FocusPoint has Travel L&D Assignments in multiple locations.

We are currently seeking an experienced team of Labor & Delivery Unit Nurses. The ideal candidates should have recent travel experience and intensive care experience.

Estimated Overall Assignment Amount: $14,040 to $23,400+ | plus per diem & housing

Estimated overall Weekly Amount: $1,080 to $1,800+ | plus per diem & housing

Labor & Delivery Unit Nurse Requirements:

• Active RN License as may be required
• RN degree from an accredited registered nurse program
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALs
• 6+ months of L&D nursing preferred (Varies by assignment)

Labor & Delivery Unit Nurse Wage Benefits:

• $30/hr to $50/hr
• $45/hr to $75/hr OT
• Estimated weekly (36 hours): $1,080 to $1,800+ (plus per diem & housing)
• Weekly Per Diem Varies by location

Responsibilities:

• Frequently check PACU patients, monitoring their vital signs and other post-surgical factors.
• Review each patient's medical history, taking note of important information.
• Perform post-operative tasks, such as changing bandages and giving patients medications.
• Provide patients and their family members or caretakers with information about home recovery, including any restrictions on diet or activity.
• Determine if patients are ready to leave the facility or if they need more specialized care in the ICU.
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, technologists, and other hospital personnel as necessary to provide quality patient care.
