As Working Student JavaScript Developer (m/w/d) you essentially contribute to our product - the climate.karma frontend and backend apps.
Tasks
You will support our Javascript development which mainly encompasses the following fields:
- Collaboratively working on new features and improvements of our existing code with our developer in an agile environment
- Enhancing the general performance of the frontend and backend
- Writing tests and improve the general testability of our code
Our tech stack is based on modern technologies: GraphQL with Apollo and ES6 JavaScript written in TypeScript. In the frontend we are using Vue.js embedded in our Wordpress environment. Also, we are always open for innovative solutions and experiment with new tools.
Requirements
- Experience with modern ES6 JavaScript & Node.js
- Experience with SOLID software architectures
- Experience with the concepts and the implementation of GraphQL
- Experience with TypeScript
- Detail-oriented and accurate work style
- Intrinsic motivation for clean code and simplicity
- Familiarity with agile concepts
- Nice to have: Experience with Software-Tests and TDD (although we do not strictly approach feature with TDD)
- Extra: Experience with the Google Cloud Platform
- Fluent in English, ideally German
