Software Integration Engineer

Job Description: Years of experience:
o 5+ years of Data Architecture experience
o 10+ years of developing software applications
Experience in Cloud software development and services, preferred Azure experience
Experience in multiple data formats, for example: XML, JSON and xAPI



The Commercial Architecture & Software Engineering function within Training Solutions is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to provide technical leadership for data architecture modeling, designs and integration solutions for a state of the art virtual procedures trainer.

In this key technology leadership role, you will work closely with Product Management and software engineers in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across the globe as we produce new Training Solutions software capabilities as part of the Global Aviation Safety Initiative.


Job Description
Defines requirements and designs and verifies robust architecture, data and information management systems and components.

Establishes design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements.

Incorporates architecture functions into software development lifecycle.

Leads the development and configuration management of architecture views and models.

Assesses of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives.

Performs trade-off analyses.

Evaluates products to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments.

Drafts data and information management products and service standards.

Assess impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle.

Contributes to architecture and data/information management standards and strategies.
Skills: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
