Technical Project Manager

Excellent project management skills, including prioritization, customer concern, process improvements, and cross-functional communication

An ability to build a deep understanding of networking applications functionality - its technical details, as well as the business needs driving it.

Be able to track the deliverables and milestones closely, bring to the attention of the client and all stakeholders of the priorities. Manage Scope, Schedule, Budget.

Have sound knowledge on the "definition of done" for a given service.

Experience working as Technical Project Manager on Application Modernization / Application Development composed of frontend, backend, qa and devops team. Experience as a Scrum Master.

Maintain resourcing requirements and understand resource availability & allocation

Manage timesheets related to projects

Develop detailed project plans that indicate key milestones and activities

Manage service engagements including interactions with the customer project team, technical analysts, and client stakeholders

Host weekly project stakeholder meetings and drive initiatives to meet project goals

Manage the delivery of project reporting for stakeholders to include burndown, RAG, and weekly status reports

Contribute to the continuous review and build-out of project delivery standards and processes

Define and develop metrics to measure key indicators including value, efficiency, and effectiveness

Ensure customer expectations are met as identified in the statement of work

Leads innovation/creativity discussions: Ex Design Thinking, Agile, Cloud Platforms.

Experience working in Agile project management style

Experience running numerous projects and tasks simultaneously.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Extremely detail oriented and experienced in documenting processes, workflows, and identifying issues.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

5+ years of experience in delivering customer-facing projects

5+ years of experience with task tracking or project management tools such as Jira

Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, budgeting, interpersonal, and organization skills required

Strong desire to learn and contribute

5+ years of experience delivering large scale projects/applications built with tech stack being Java/Node.js, Springboot, Microservices, SQL/NoSQL DB backend and React or other front end technologies hosted on Onprem or Cloud platforms being AWS, Azure or GCP

Experience working for Telecom domain/ Clients is a plus

Certifications in project management methodologies a plus

Experience with Agile/ SAFe /Lean methodologies a plus

Experience with working with clients and stakeholders within the business.

Ability to direct the work of others.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to work collaborative

Technical Skills/Experience

Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming

Java/JEE Application development with familiarity of one or more ORM frameworks

Javascript & React

HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS3), Bootstrap

Strong Background in RESTful Web services

Expertise in Spring framework, Spring boot, Microservices

JEE containers such as Apache Tomcat and/or other industry standard JEE application servers

Git, Maven and other standard Source Control and Build tools

Windows and Linux proficiency

Business rules implemented in Java and SQL or Relational database

Knows Java, JS Programming (Java 8 & above needed)

Expertise in Cloud SaaS based application
