Description:

This individual's focus will be on the overall lab testing and coordination with particular focus on the campus side/ WAN/ MAN, MAB/ 802.1x and required in-depth understanding of simulated lab tests, interoperability with IP appliances like F5/ A10/ Fortinet/ SRX Loadbalancers and firewalls. The candidate will be a member of a team of elite network engineers and should have extensive knowledge of network technologies on routing and switching protocols and network simulation and testing. He will be leveraged also by other team mates and provide support to their testing

Job requirement

• 8+ years of experience required, extensive experience with LAN/WAN network design, engineering, and Certification
• Experience with testing design and certification of products in LAB environments
• CCNP/ CCIE-level experience.
• Strong Knowledge of working with protocols such as OSPF, BGP, QoS, IPSec, PIM
• Strong Experience with Cisco Platforms such as Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ ASR
• Experience with MAB/ Port Security/ NAC/ 802.1x
• Strong Knowledge of Certification of new code, and bug Scrubs on IOS/ XE/ NXOS/ and limited XR
• Experience with Arista Platforms such as 7280, 7504, 7260, 7150, 7800, et al.
• Experience developing strategies with multiple vendors
• Experienced with creating design documents for each certification which includes engineering guidelines.
• Experience with Tools such as IXIA to test and certify various designs, and troubleshoot networks issues.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• • Expert knowledge IP Routing BGP, MP-BGP, OSPF, RIP, MPLS, L2-VPNs, Spanning-tree protocol,
  • Understanding of network protocols, network platforms such as Cisco/Juniper/Arista to design and troubleshoot new implementation.
  • Multicast: IGMPv2/3, PIM-SM, PIM-SSM, AutoRP, BSR, Static RP, RP-Anycast, MSDP
  • IP Routing Platforms ISR, ASR1K, Catalyst, Arista
  • L2 and L3 QoS
  • Cisco Switching Platforms Cat3K, 4K, 6K, 9k
  • Extensive knowledge of Switching and Switching mechanisms like CEF, TCAM
  • Extensive Knowledge on Timing is a plus
  • Extensive Knowledge Ultra Low Latency is a plus
  • Understanding of new protocols being deployed intra and inter Data Center, eg VXLAN,NV-GRE, eVPN)
  • Data Center power and cooling, cabling 10/ 25G/ 40G/ 50G/ 100G desired
  • Cloud computing, Virtualization industry standard and trends, server technologies a plus
  • Router hardening technologies, DDoS mitigation, routing protocol encryption, SSH implementation, out-of-band network design, 802.1x, NAC, IPSec
  • Manage vendor, coordinate testing and evaluate PoC
  • Possess ability to quickly and effectively interpret data.
  • Possess ability to perform very complex implementations with little or no guidance and/or oversight from a project manager.
