Basic Linux - to execute commands via command-line

Good at communications and reporting issues

Rest API, Postman and http request flow

Good to have:

Open tracing UI - to trace the end-to-end flow of transaction processing

Basics of GitHub version control

Basic knowledge of infra

Kafka to see lag/consumption of messages

Postgres to run queries

Cassandra to run queries

Basics of Dynatrace - to monitor the infra including pods, Kafka, DBs etc.

Kubernetes/Cloud - to validate the deployments

Understanding Java code - to debug issues
