Job Title: Oracle Pl/SQL developer
Job Type: contract Job location: New York city

Job Description: *Coding, Code Reviews & Unit Testing *Reviewing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL code *Deliverables to be error free while meeting requirements *Works on periodic maintenance releases of applications, including enhancements and defect corrections *Effectively collaborate and interact with production support, development and testing teams *Manage workload effectively to meet timelines with good quality *Provide prompt and proactive status updates on assigned activities *Notify/raise issues to supervisor in a timely manner to resolve them early *Must have a good understanding of Service Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) Processes *Hands on developer migrating procedural SQL code from other DBMS to robust, high quality and performant PL/SQL code and Linux shell scripts
Qualifications for oracle PL-SQL *Strong knowledge on RDBMS, Enterprise Data architecture *Good development background in oracle or similar RDBMS *Strong understanding of SDLC (having worked on Agile is a plus) *Must working experience in Data Life Cycle, Enterprise, Logical & Physical Data Model, Data Reference Model *Strong people management skills and exposure *Expertise in data analysis and excellent debugging skills
