Responsible for processing all non-exempt regular hours, overtime, double-time
Assist employees with timecard input questions
Responsible for day to day responses to employees and business units questions via Payroll hotline and Payroll emails
Ensure all Payroll hotline/Email requests are completed in a professional and timely manner
Review all paperwork for new hires/terminations/changes entered by HR to ensure employees are paid correctly
Prepare manual checks as needed between cycles
Ensure payroll associate data is updated and maintained accurately and timely, including exception items such as retroactive adjustments, deductions, etc.
Must have experience running of 10+ payrolls per month
Extensive problem solving skills required
Extensive experience with commission and bonus payouts
Assists in development of overall payroll procedures by recommending improvements or changes when deemed necessary for greater efficiency
Prepare journal entries on a monthly basis
Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
Must be able to multi task and juggle several priorities without becoming overwhelmed
Will provide adherence to auditing process/procedure of payroll staff
Will have a high degree of respect for the confidentiality and sensitivity of payroll
Be a team player with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellence
Perform other duties as assigned
