Job Duties: Work on the main User Interface (UI) platform of TTD and specialize in the Data Marketplace Platform, including finding out what users need and come up with a design that can satisfy their needs and can be coded within reasonable amount of time. Coordinate with various stakeholders for projects on the main UI platform (including engineers, project managers, system analysts, and business analysts) to ensure all work that is required is well understood and verified before releasing the new features to the public. Participate in weekly deployment of the main UI platform, including coordinating any new features, bug fixes, or regressions with the release manager for weekly installation/upgrade of the platform. Implement software to develop user interfaces for the targeting audience management and first- and third-party data storage which includes development of instrumentation to measure the raw performance as well as usability as perceived by customers. Develop testing procedures and documentation for all projects, including documenting how to manually test the new UI features or bug fixes, as well as, adding automation testing to increase The Trade Desks test coverage across the Data Marketplace Platform. Work on bug reports or improvements identified by analysis for the main UI platform, including when customers report problems and work on upgrading all pertinent components.

Job Requirements: Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Must have five (5) years of experience creating backend services, including API development. Must have four (4) years of experience with: building front end user interfaces with ReactJS; developing relational database applications using SQL language or Object Relational Model (ORM); writing test plans and creating all necessary automated tests using unit and integration testing libraries to validate and protect against regression of quality; and writing architecture design, work plans and experience presenting projects to team members and management. Must have two (2) years of experience with: user design principles and building user interface off of wire frame examples; creating applications with C#; building services using external cloud-based indexing services; developing applications that directly use large amounts of data, greater than 1 terabyte, with scale out column store databases; and identifying and designing architectural improvements to existing software and creating actionable plans for a team to implement changes.
