Senior Supplier Development Engineer (SDE)

Summary

We are looking to hire a Senior Supplier Development Engineer (SDE) who will be responsible for ensuring parts and systems delivered from our external suppliers meet our design & quality specifications, capacity requirements and can be delivered on time.

Our Supplier Development Engineers liaison between our suppliers and Hardware Development Engineers on New Product Introduction programs from Concept to Final Approval and Launch. They will develop and install the most efficient and capable manufacturing tools & processes which will consistently deliver the highest quality in our products. They will assist with resolving technical issues and instill manufacturing improvements that ensure repeatability.

What You'll Do


Work as part of the Product Development project team to ensure Aristocrats Mechanical and Electrical Engineering requirements are clearly communicated and understood by the relevant Supplier network
Ensure our Suppliers adhere to Aristocrats New Product Development requirements
Strategically lead supplier improvement projects to increase the supplier capability of consistently meeting Aristocrat requirements
Responsible for the deployment & monitoring of PPAP & Supplier APQP to support New Product Development activities
Conduct supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement
Investigate, analyze and resolve supplier quality problems by conducting audits, analyzing defect trends and leading continuous improvement projects
Develop longterm global supplier relationships and generate and implement cost reduction ideas
Aid in the evaluation and qualification of new supplier materials & processes following a defined new product development manual


What We're Looking For


Bachelors degree required. Preference in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Aeronautical
Minimum 10 years experience in a manufacturing engineering role
Minimum 5 years experience in supplier management
Minimum 5 years experience on managing multiple projects
Strong hands-on experience in multifaceted manufacturing environment
Experience in designing and executing hardware test plans in a regulated environment
Experience with PFMEA, DFMEA, PPAP, APQP
Other language proficiency desired (preference in Spanish).
