Job Position: Sr. BI Developer (Finance)

General tasks and responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the design, creation, and maintenance of complex reporting solutions to support business needs across the organization
Develops an understanding of business processes and operational tools in order to create meaningful report designs
Designs and develops creative and complex interactive visualizations utilizing BI applications such as Tableau & Develop multiple prototypes, mock-ups and conceptualization of ideas that bring simplicity and context to complex design challenges
Oracle/SQL skills to create complex joins and awareness of functions & cursors
Good understanding of DataMart/Data warehouse concepts
Analyze, study and understand business domain data requirements, user task flows and objectives and create pixel perfect design solutions for visual data delivery and analysis
Partner with stakeholders to plan, communicate, and deliver data solutions successfully and timely

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent study, or work expertise in relevant field of experience
5+ years of Business Intelligence experience
3+ years in dashboarding, reporting, or data analysis
Knowledgeable in Data mining and analysis tools
Knowledgeable in Data visualization best practices
Extensive experience in Tableau & SQL
Ability to display complex quantitative and qualitative data in a simple, intuitive format to present findings in a clear manner
Ability to think about customer and employee needs when evaluating possible solutions

Educational Level:
A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study; and
Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applications.
Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).
Network Services requires a telecommunications background and experience.
Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and retrieval techniques; or
A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
Years of Experience:
Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applications.
Operations Specialty requires supervisory experience (5 years).
