Seeking an Associate Vice President, Transplant Administration to be responsible for overseeing the growth of the Abdominal Transplant Program and Donor Recovery Center. Continue to support both liver and kidney transplant programs.
Maintain exceptional quality outcomes in terms of graft and patient survival rates.
Transplant Program continues is one of the most diverse programs in the country.
Role has 4 direct reports, approximately 90 FTE's
Oversees both inpatient and outpatient areas.
AVP will oversee Abdominal Transplant Units (Transplant Surgical ICU and Transplant Acute Care Floor), Adult Dialysis, Kidney & Liver Procurement, Transplant Clinic, Transplant Outreach and Operations and Donor Recovery Center.
Assist the CNO in the planning, administering, and directing of the activities of the Nursing Department.
Responsible for providing leadership to ensure the optimal delivery of quality care, customer service and education within established standards.
AVP Candidate Requirements:
At least 5 years of leadership and management experience in nursing and hospital operations
At least 3 in a direct leadership role in a hospital setting or direct patient care environment
Preferably experience with solid organ transplant service line (kidney transplant programs and living kidney donor program)
Experience from a Level I Trauma Center is preferred
Has experience contributing to the improvement of inpatient care
Has examples of improved efficiency in clinical operations
Current TX license
