Job Summary

The Procurement Development Program (PDP) provides an accelerated training program for college graduates who have an ability to excel in todays Supply Chain environment. The program will provide you with exposure to the various facets of Supply Chain within a diverse Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) organization and an opportunity to develop into a future Supply Chain leader. The PDP will build on your skill-set by providing exposure to experienced professionals and various areas of Procurement including: Direct, Indirect, Systems, Materials and Operations Planning, etc. You will report into a Procurement Manager throughout the program.

The Program is structured to last approximately 36 months and will allow for growth and individual development opportunities. You will rotate through three Supply Chain functions during your time in the program. These rotations will vary based on your industry experience, career aspirations, and business need.


Position Responsibilities

Run various reports on a scheduled basis and provide supporting analytics
Manage procurement master data in SAP and right angle to help drive process efficiencies
Enter orders, contracts, and/or raw material sales orders into SAP as needed based on category strategy
Build relationships with various cross-functional contacts
Support business process improvements and documentation
Provide research and analytical support for various issues and ad hoc projects
Develop an understanding of SAP MRP processes and data
Develop an understanding of market dynamics and cost drivers
Develop an understanding of company facilities and requirements, capabilities, processes, and constraints


Position Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
Leadership experience
Financial knowledge (i.e. budget management, cost driver understanding)
Ability to react to daily situations without losing sight of strategy
Desire to grow within Supply Chain Department
Ability to relocate and travel up to 20%
