Job Description
Hiring a personal care aide for my and 18 yr old patient who has low functioning autism.
Schedule is up to 40 hrs / week (flexible), ideally looking for 4-5 hr shifts on weekdays and 8 hrs on weekends.
Requirements:
- Experience working with special needs.
- Speaks english. Ideally can also speak bengali.
- Can drive a car and has a car to take my brother to after school activities.
- Can easily commute to Valley Stream
- Can empathize and communicate with patient, despite patient being non verbal
Role & responsibilities
- Supervise patient at home in Valley Stream
- Take patient to extracurricular activies (max 25 min drive away or within walking distance
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Salary: Up to $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
4 hour shift
8 hour shift
After school
No nights
Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
Vaccination required
Experience:
Caregiving: 1 year (Required)
