Remote - Enterprise Data Management Lead

Job Title : Enterprise Data Management Lead Location : Pittsburgh, PA (Can be full Remote) Responsibilities: The role is for an Enterprise Data Management Lead in the Data Hub organization! This professional will be accountable for delivering Data Governance within an Enterprise Data function. The scope is companywide and will interact with both the Enterprise & Operations Spokes that have the responsibility for delivery of Data Management & Analytics solutions to their respective enterprise and operations customers. We are seeking an individual with experience in Enterprise Data governance and tools that include the areas of master data management, metadata and cataloging, data quality and compliance and data governance including policy creation covering data access and retention. Responsibilities Drive the data governance vision and implement data management strategies, standards, and processes to support all of Alcoa. Assist in developing and driving the execution of master data management strategies. Support in the development of data quality standards and find opportunities to ensure data meets the following characteristics, including but not limited to: accuracy, validity, reliability, timeliness, relevance, and completeness. Promote ongoing engagement of data stewards and data domain owners within the data governance structure. Develop and implement a roadmap for tools and processes to effectively manage critical data across the enterprise. Establish processes and governance that enable rapid data access that leads to value creation, without sacrificing appropriate access controls. Drive the capture of business definitions, taxonomies, and linkage to technical lineage within the metadata tool. Technical Skills: Performing enterprise data management activities) (Meta Data Mgmt., Master data Mgmt., Data Quality, Data Security, interpreting data policy, and conducting impact analysis for data related changes - 5+ years Experience with supporting data governance activities, designing and conducting data governance training programs. Demonstrable experience in tools such as Informatica, Collibra or Semarchy 5+ years Collaborating with business users and IT technical staff.
