Position: Senior PMO
Starting date: asap
Location : Geneva, 100% on site
Mandatory: Residence in Switzerland or willing to relocate in Switzerland
In 2020, our client launched an ambitious transformation program in order to modernize their technology platform while rethinking the user experience and our end-to-end processes. This project covers both the redesign of complex legacy systems and the introduction of new technology building blocks.
The Senior PMO will report to the program manager and his main mission will be in supporting with steering committee preparation, risk & issue backlog tracking, budget follow-up, documentation structure and project audit follow-up.
YOUR MISSION:
Strategic Responsibilities
Work on the communication of program goals, objectives, and business outcomes to stakeholders and IT teams;
Support and facilitate agenda setting for program committees/board meetings.
Create KPIs / Dashboards to monitor a portfolio of projects
Execution Responsibilities
Track and follow delivery schedule, milestones, and required underlying activities and tasks in line with the overall roadmap;
Create presentations (PowerPoint) to communicate progress on different assignments (Committees, Boards, Workshops etc.) to T&O executives
Monitor work plan and staffing for activities,
Control the program budget,
Document risk assessment
Maintain all the required program documentation and artifacts.
Reporting and Communication Responsibilities
Help program manager to timely report on value, time-to-market, risks and funding (actuals and forecasts);
Contribute to the development and maintenance of stakeholder mapping, communication, and reporting.
DESIRED PROFILE:
Master degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent-related IT experience;
Project management training and certification a plus:
More than 5 years on project follow-up in a PMO organization, for example within a consulting firm
Demonstrated experience in working with diverse teams;
Strong knowledge of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major, defined program management approaches (for example, PMI, Prince II or agile);
Significant knowledge of project planning/scheduling tools (clarity, Jira), with a solid track record of practical application;
Exceptional PowerPoint skills
Ability to deal with high level of constraints and pressure;
Excellent written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing Executive expectations;
Fluent in French and English (both oral and written)
