B-2 Test Manager SME (Dayton)

Full time on W2 only

In this role you will provide full-spectrum Test Management Support to the B-2 Program Office within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton,Ohio.In this roll, you will assist in managing and organizing resources and personnel needed to efficiently and effectively meet the objectives of each task, as well as exploring new approaches as applicable within the performance of these tasks.You will apply T&E knowledge and experience to support systems and subsystems development, procurement, and sustainment activities throughout their life cycles; this includes pre/post award project/program T&E tasks.

Essential Job Functions:You will assist in the designing, planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases of T&E programs (including any applicable military certifications and procedures) to assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems, and equipment as they progress through the various acquisition phases and milestones.You will assist in reviewing/developing/updating applicable program documentation for T&E management requirements across the full spectrum of actions required to award contracts to include, but not limited to: pre-award documentation, development of evaluation criteria, evaluation of weapon system contractor proposals to ensure compliance with programmatic requirements, and post-award documentation actions with a properly signed and approved Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).You will support development of documentation and presentation materials as requested or necessitated by programmatic limits based on cost, schedule, and performance.

Required Skills:Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.A High School Diploma plus 23 years of experience, an Associate's degree plus 17 years, a Bachelor's degree plus 15 years or a Master's degree plus 12 years or a PhD plus ten years of experience is required.Minimum of 5 years of experience must be in the DoD. Requires Top Secret/SCI security clearance.At least 10 years of T&E experience including experience in managing weapon system platforms.Understanding of the acquisition process and of the entire system(s) being acquired to establish test objectives necessary to ensure a thorough, meaningful test program that will meet program office objectives.Understanding of DoD and USAF T&E regulations, processes, and procedures to support the design, planning, execution, and analysis phases of test programs and assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems, and equipment, as they progress through the various acquisition phases and milestones.You must demonstrate proficiency equivalent to that of a Defense Acquisition T&E Level III certification.Experience in SPO test management, Test program sets, Test execution with test organizations at Eglin AFB, Edwards AFB, Arnold Engineering Development Center, or other test agencies, and Test resourcing and/or policy at Major Command or Air Staff levels.
