Data Modeler (SEEK Eagle)

Full time on W2 only

The Data Modeler shall support the Air Force SEEK EAGLE office applying knowledge of configuration and data management practices, processes, and experience with establishing and maintaining consistency of product attributes to ensure adequacy and accuracy for use in support of the aircraft store compatibility and certification process. These solutions support enterprise information management, business intelligence, machine learning, data science, and other business interests. The work performed will be in direct support to the Air Force SEEK EAGLE Program. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills accustomed to data governance processes.Must be able to work directly with contractor and Government personnel in a mixed badge environment to support Air Force SEEK EAGLE mission.

Essential Job Functions:Implement configuration management of information and applications in accordance with applicable standards and organizational policies.Analyze and recommend Data Management automation tools.Develop, implement, improve, and control data management processes for tracking, disposition and maintaining documents.Provide input on technical documentation utilizing knowledge of Government documentation procedures.Maintain a library of documentation providing easy access to technical personnel for reference.Develop and maintain Data Repositories.Participate in AFSEO process improvement programs.

Required Skills:Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. A High school Diploma/GED plus 7 years of experience, an Associates plus 5 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in Computer/Data Science or related technical discipline plus 3 years of relevant experience.Must have a Secret security clearance. Experience with data modeling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models.Experience with data warehouse, Data Lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi- data-center contexts.Knowledge of metadata management, data modeling, and related tools.Advanced troubleshooting skills.Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Very good attention to detail and a candidate who takes ownership and pride in all work.Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Desired Skills:Current security clearance is desired.Experience with data warehouse, Data Lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data- center contexts.
