Job Description

Geoquip Marine is a market leading marine Geotechnical company that is pivotal to the global roll out of offshore renewable energy. This is truly an exciting time to be joining us in the beautiful location of Bristol within an international environment (approx. 25 different nationalities) as a Quality Advisor. The Quality Advisor will assist and support on quality matters in relation to the Geoquip Marine Integrated Management System and any Process Risk Quality matters arising. This position will be administrator for the Integrated Management System.

Functions and duties

The duties assigned to the Quality Advisor are varied, but will include:

  • System administrator for the Integrated Management System (IMS) and perform document control that includes managing document revisions, new documents, approvals, document names, numbers and proper Archiving of old or obsolete documents.
  • Identify and recommend solutions the gaps between Company Integrated Management System versus Industry and Regulatory Standards/ Requirements. Making sure that our Management System continues to align with the ISO and industry standard and Requirements
  • Create and support the maintenance of Integrated Management System documents in coordination with various document owners as required.
  • Contribute to and support the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audit and certification process.
  • Provide monthly reports on Quality areas of the business.
  • Assist with audit planning and follow up.
  • Support relevant systems for continuous improvement
  • Conduct audits in support of the Internal and External Audit Program
  • Assist in continuous assessing the requirements of Internal and External Customers with regard to Quality expectations in the Company.
  • Assist and / or conduct investigations into Non-Conformances and Customer Complaints using root cause analysis techniques
  • Assist in preparing Quality Tender documents.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary, which are within the bounds of the incumbent s competence and function.

      Qualifications and Experience

      To be successful in this role, the Quality Advisor will have:

      • Experience in Quality Management
      • Minimum 5 years Management System Administrator experience in the sector highly focused on Integrated Management systems, on an operational and/or Corporate position.
      • Experience in international complex/matrix organizations
      • Bachelor s degree
      • Lead Auditor for ISO 9001
      • Deep knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
      • Proven experience of acting as internal lead auditor on ISO 14001/45001 and/or general HSE
      • Prior experience of working in multinational and remote teams by launching and managing projects/campaigns/programs
      • IT system literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook and databases / compliance software).
      • Strong commitment to Quality and Process Risk Management.
      • High level of competence in written and oral English communication skills.
