About The Opportunity


The Experience Lead, Operations plays an integral role in the overall success of WeWorks partnership with a Sports and Multimedia Company based in New York City. The candidate must have a passion for delivering a first class service and a desire to exceed employee expectations. Candidates must have the ability to multitask and have a detail-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate must be comfortable conversing with employees, guests and VIP personnel on a consistent basis.


In this role, youll:



Change Management


Assist Experience Manager in leading workplace in Change Management initiatives

Assist Experience Manager with implementation of new conference room reservation system, including client communications and familiarization training, as well as creation of conference room management SOPs.

Educate the workplace on new space best practices including proper usage, agile working strategy, alternative conferencing and meeting techniques and escalation procedures for facilities and system related items.

Make recommendations to the building operations team on any repairs, maintenance, or updates required in the facility.

Manage new requests from employees and identify the correct channels and resources to complete the request.


Operations


Conduct quality control walkthroughs to address immediate issues, pre-empt potential future issues and identify areas for improvement when required, especially in conferencing spaces.

Oversee the guest & visitor registration process for the entire company site to ensure cross-functional synchronism.

Serve as a conduit between Conference Service Director and contracted food and beverage provider to ensure alignment for upcoming meetings and events.

Direct daily flow of events with rest of Experience team and relevant vendors for all conference room reservations, including but not limited to room inventory management and allocation, curation of hosts needs, arrival escorts, F&B coordination, room setup/breakdown, tier-1 basic A/V troubleshooting, etc.

Drive new processes in collaborating with Experience Manager for collecting conference services guest feedback, problem resolution, and process improvement.

Oversee conference room booking process and systems for the entire company site.

Support the Experience Manager in making strategic decisions regarding the operational performance and process optimization of the location.

Recommend best practices, including but not limited to: community management, operations, training, and member experience on a company-wide level.

Train Experience Associates and other Experience Lead at your location to conduct walkthroughs and prepare reports for those occasions when you are not able to do so.


About You

Wed love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:

Executive presence and be comfortable interfacing with C-level personnel and VIP guests on a consistent basis.

Comfortable adhering to business-professional work environment, and abiding by Client-directed uniform and name tag.

2 + years of client facing or customer service experience in a hospitality role required.

Experience in Hotel FOH, and or high-end Retail/Restaurant, Event Coordination, Catering or High-end Service Industry Experience a plus

Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing for long periods of time, sitting, walking, squatting, stooping, reaching, and bending above and below shoulder height. Ability to lift up to 45 pounds

Highly flexible and adaptable to continuous change and growth.

Organized and detail-oriented.

Ability to solve problems with innovative thinking.

Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.
