The Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain & Inventory role will collaborate with the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization, by providing key financial analysis, accounting & strategic support while managing a multi-billion dollar Global Inventory for the company. This role is located in New Brunswick, NJ and financially encompasses both balance sheet and P&L activities.
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Business Partnering
Acts as the primary Finance point of contact for global Inventory
Provide proactive analysis to drive value toward GSC business objectives
Supports team in monthly and quarterly financial close process, focusing on comparison of results to forecast, with investigation of key variances, preparation of journal entries, etc. Identifies and escalates risks and / or opportunities as appropriate.
Develops routine and ad-hoc reports, analyses and metrics within required timeframes; analyzes and validates data to provide assurance of accuracy and validity of critical business information.
Provides financial support to develop the annual GSC business plan/Budget and periodic financial projections
Supports external and internal audits, as needed

Helps drive transparency (utilizing automation where appropriate) to inventory data, analyses, and processes to ensure right information is available for business and decision analysis

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA and/or MBA preferred
Minimum 5 - 7 years diversified experience in accounting and finance
Experience with development of annual business plan/budget, financial projections
Strong accounting knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls, strong financial and analytical skills
Operations expense management and/or inventory management preferred
Strong working knowledge of general ledger and budgeting systems preferred; particularly, the SAP suite, Oracle and TM1
High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
