What Youll Do

As a Senior Quality Engineer, youll be part of our Stanley Infrastructure team located in Two Harbors, MN. Youll get to:
Provide technical support, expertise, and documentation for identifying and correcting quality related issues in welded steel products.
Maintain strong interface internally with product engineering, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and operations to support challenges and improvements relating to quality.
Provide support, process control, training, documentation and perform audits for site functions and activities in accordance with group ISO standards and quality policy.
Support quality related functions relating to changes from new product development, supplier development, sourcing, and engineering change notices.
Oversee projects from cradle to grave including specifying project needs, vendor interaction, routine progress reporting, documentation, and resource allocation.

A Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years previous Quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
A basic knowledge of LEAN principles and practices and established manufacturing procedures preferred.
Basic knowledge of quality processes such as PPAP, control documents and root cause analysis.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality program requirements.
Excellent verbal and written skills plus the ability to conduct effective meetings.
