Job Description


Our client is looking for a Chief Sales Officer that will support and lead the selling of equipment, parts, and service. The role includes the planning, implementation, and leadership of sales programs through channel partners and direct sales. The CSO will develop a marketing and sales program that will consistently deliver the growth objectives of the company as well as client retention goals. As a member of the senior leadership team, the CSO will support the development of the company strategy and be held accountable for executing the sales and marketing side of this strategy. On a day-to-day basis, the CSO will lead and manage the sales team and channel partners to achieve the sales targets through key metrics such sales activities, sales pipeline and bookings. The CSO will be actively participating in the sales activities and will act as a coach and mentor to the sales organization and continue to develop the sales process and sales support roles.




The Chief Sales Officer will be responsible for:


  • Leading the Sales and Marketing team according to their values and goals

  • Managing, coaching, and developing their team members

  • Supporting the development of the long term company strategy

  • Developing and direct their Go-to-Market strategy for all products offered

  • Creating and maintaining the Sales and Marketing budgets

  • Leading and managing the performance of all sales activities to meet growth and profitability targets

  • Driving and coordinate continuous improvement of processes and systems based on audit, customer, and employee feedback

  • Providing monthly projections for bookings by product line based on sales pipeline and activity

  • Personally handle select customers and projects as the sales person

  • Providing price list, quote and proposal development support for catalog products, systems and special solutions. Participate in pricing the solutions/service.

  • Tracking and analyzing sales and account performance metrics



A qualified Chief Sales Officer will have:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field

  • 5+ years sales leadership experience

  • Capital equipment sales experience

  • Track record of leading sales growth through achievement of strategic objectives
