Job Description

Full time on W2 only

Responsible for federal, state and other tax compliance. Other responsibilities include, research technical tax issues impacting compliance filings, responding to IRS and state requests, and identifying simplification opportunities within the tax compliance processes. The candidate will have direct communication with associates with varying levels of experience throughout the enterprise (Corporate Tax, Finance, Technology, Operations, etc.) and with service providers, great communication and teamwork skills are critical to success.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of corporate income/franchise tax experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work load in a dynamic environment in order to meet internal and external deadlines

  • Strong time management skills

Desired Skills

  • CPA preferred

  • Corptax software experience preferred

  • Experience with SAP general ledger platform and /or Emerging Technologies (ex: Tableau, Alteryx) preferred

Group Descriptions

Global Financial Control (GFC) is responsible for managing and executing consolidated financial and legal entity reporting; interpreting and applying accounting policy and standards; overseeing financial controls and operational risk assessments; managing and maintaining financial data and systems; managing general ledger and sub ledger accounting; and supporting tax activities. In short, our focus in GFC is to get the numbers right and to work in support of the company's goals, most importantly responsible growth.

  • Tax Accounting and Compliance (TAC) is responsible for the accounting and reporting of U.S. income taxes, calculation of Corporate Tax contributions for forecast and stress testing activities, and the preparation, filing and payment of US income tax compliance for federal, state and local jurisdictions.
