Description:
This position is for a Laboratory Diagnostics (LD) Manufacturing Chromatography Laboratory Technician.
This position will cover weekends (Wednesday Sunday or Sunday Thursday or Tuesday Saturday), with training occurring Monday - Friday.
This position includes the handling of all types of materials, including hazardous materials.
As a Laboratory Technician 1, you will be responsible for:
Purification of specified components via liquid chromatography
Buffer and chromatography column preparation
Maintaining a legible and accurate batch record according to proper GMP
Routine audit of fellow operator's batch records
Completion of all necessary training activities
Lab Duties as required
Occasional off shift work may be required
Working within a regulated laboratory environment: knowledge of and compliance with ISO, GMP, QSR
Required skills to have for the success of this role
Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
Legible handwriting
Exceptional Mathematical background
Attention to detail
Multitasking skills
Must pass a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) background check.
Have the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
