Electrical Design and Analysis Engr 3

Position responsibilities:
Proven experience with circuit card assembly schematic designs.
Develops Design Requirements and Plans.
Design and Testing of DDR4 interfaces, SATA/SSD, 1G/10G Ethernet.
election of components to be used in Avionics Electronics Designs, like but not limited to, DDR, memory, storage media flash, ethernet controllers.
Strong understanding of ARINC 429, ARINC 818 and MIL 1553.
Simulation experience and creation of behavioral models with MATLAB and Similar tools.
Experience with Mentor suite of eCAD tools.
Experience of a broad range of hardware types including RF assemblies, antennas, power supplies (alternating current/direct current (AC/DC)), FPGAs, digital signal processors, and embedded architectures.
Experience of antennas, wave guides, gimbals, filters, complex electronics, RF signal processing, RF amplifiers, RF transceivers, Intermediate Frequency Processing, and/or serial rapid Input/Output (I/O) interfaces (SRIO).
Experience of digital and RF test equipment including signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Works with customers to develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements.
Analyzes and translates requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
Designs digital circuits and analyzes performance and parameters (e.g., throughput, rise time, clock frequencies, propagation delay) and utilizes hardware description. languages (e.g., Hardware Description Language [HDL], Verilog).
Designs computer hardware and software components (e.g., processors, memory, interfaces, high order languages), and models results (e.g., throughput, processing architecture, timing, capacity).
Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements in DOORS.
Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specification.
Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software.
Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
Reviews supplier and partner qualification data.
LRU Design/Analysis/Layout/Manufacturing.
COTS design/integration.
Performs Trade Studies/Modeling (reliability and thermal).
Cross-functional coordination and integration.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors in engineering degree or higher
4 or more years in Electrical Engineering experience
3 of more years with Circuit Card Assembly Schematic Design
Experience with digital circuit design
Experience with electrical circuit analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with digital/analog power electronics
Circuit design and analysis experience
Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Analysis experience
Electronics-oriented work experience
