Prop Trader

We are a new trading floor to Burlington, focused on trading all North American and European equity markets. Some of our most profitable strategies are based around statistical analysis/machine learning and market making. We have access to large amounts of buying power and look to use it to our advantage! Our trading desk provides trading access to almost every equity market worldwide, and traders can utilize any strategy they would like.

We are looking for new and experienced traders to undergo our training program in order to live-trade financial markets and take advantage of our firms software and knowledge of financial markets. You will have access to trading almost every equity market in the world!

Compensation is based entirely on profits earned by the trader. We are not a deposit based firm, no risk deposit or training fee is required. You will trade the firms capital, and be compensated based on your performance.

Successful candidates will undergo our unique training program, which is comprised of both online modules and in-class instruction. They will then trade our proprietary simulator, prove the profitability of their chosen trading techniques, and then proceed to live trading. Traders themselves dictate which markets they will trade and what trading techniques they will employ.

Responsibilities:
Understanding firm's approach and policies for managing risks, and applicable legal and regulatory rules
Identify and prospect potentially profitable trading opportunities
Learn order types and the fees associated with them to maximize your earning potential
Be willing to work hard to study the market
Assist in market making activities
Proactively sharing information, knowledge and ideas that help others succeed

Qualifications and Experience:
You should be able to quickly conduct P&L calculations to ensure adequate profitability of trades
Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
Experience in programming languages such as Python for statistical analysis is very helpful
Experience in competitive games that are not team based such as Poker, StarCraft or Tennis is helpful
