Job Description

Bachelors Degree Achieves outcomes with and through others. Can influence and interact with associates at all levels of the organization. Five to ten years experience managing teams and projects Five to seven years of progressively more responsible corporate communications experience Marketing/Communications background Health care, specifically Medicaid or Medicare, experience preferred Ability to develop well-written, clear and compelling copy quickly. Excellent writing, researching, editing and proofreading skills. General knowledge of contractual requirements Creativity, accountability, discipline and integrity.
The primary purpose of the job is to:
In partnership with the local communications contact and corporate shared services, the plan manager carries out the health plan's strategic communications strategy through the use of corporate communications resources. In addition to the execution of strategic communications tactics, the plan manager works closely with corporate and health plan teams in the development and implementation of the Company's media relations, brand management, marketing communications, internal communications and thought leadership plans. Among other things, deliverables will include the development of member, provider and marketing communication materials, and ongoing support of all health plan communications. Engages, develops, and maintains relationships with both the health plans and internal corporate communications resources to achieve the objectives of the communications strategy.

Bachelors Degree.
