Job brief
We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager for Mumbai region. The successful candidate will be part of our Project Management Team and meeting our project sales targets. Manager duties will include meeting annual targets, building and maintain relationships with Architects, Interior designers, Real Estate entities, and hospitality sector etc.
Responsibilities
Maintain a high-level, strategic relationship with the top Institutional clients, Hotels, Architects, PMCs etc.
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Researching organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new market.
Managing and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with customers to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
Forecast and develop a budget for annual sales based on customer / market needs.
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends.
Directing customer interaction from inbound emails and phone calls and pro-actively calling on partners and potential customers to qualify leads from tradeshows and vertical market target lists.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Ensure strict compliance towards customer documentation in line with the organizational policies.
Developing sales & marketing strategies to build consumer preference and driving volumes.
Mapping clients requirements & providing best products to suit their requirements backed up by prompt after sales service; generating business from existing accounts and achieving profitability & sales growth.
Managing the gamut of tasks including manpower planning and coordination with the Sales Teams.
Leading and motivating the team to achieve targets.
Maintaining updated knowledge of competitor products/pricing.
Maintaining an accurate and updated database of client information.
Identify and report relevant market development, competition analysis, pricing and scheme strategies, etc.
Timely resolve all customer issues leading to customer delight and customer stickiness.
Provide an enhanced customer experience by meeting customer SLAs. (Services Level Agreements.)
Correctly identify customer needs and present a customized solution.
Continuously work towards identifying new markets, expanding geographies and market segments through focused and continuous business development initiatives and take appropriate actions.
Establish new products in the region and consolidate market share of existing products.
Ensure targeted contribution of new products to the overall sales as per desired contribution.
Achieve and deliver sales targets across all products through a focused approach in all segments professional and retail segment.
Job Requirements
Graduate in any specialization
Team Build Experience
Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills both written and oral
Lighting Industry preferred
Excellent Networking skills
