Preferred/required skills:
Back End Development:
- .NET core experience
- Strong skills in C#
- Ability to write SQL
- Ability to effectively separate application, business, and data areas of the back-end
- Entity Framework
- Willing and able to write effective unit tests
- Translate visual and written designs into efficient back-end libraries
- Establish and implement best practices and standards for all back end code
Web Design:
- Strong skills in HTML/CSS
Front End Development:
- Strong skills in TypeScript / JavaScript
- Knowledge of and experience with Angular 2+ Framework. (We currently use Angular 6+)
- Translate visual and written designs into efficient front-end components
- Establish and implement best practices and standards for all front end visuals
Overall:
- Work closely with other developers and business analysts to ensure the integrity of the application
- Competency in using version control systems such as GIT
- Ability to research and recommend new technology to enhance developer and user experience
The Ideal Candidate:
- Broad experience using C# with ASP.NET, .NET Core and Web APIs
- Willing to mentor and build other members of the team
- Willing to work closely with business analysts on usability and design
- Experience with AWS
