Senior DWH/BI Developer (f/m/d) @ NoseDat

Tasks

As a Senior DWH/BI Developer (f/m/d) you will be responsible for delivering flawless technical solutions, by implementing the technical tasks emanating from project requirements. Your tasks will include:

• Determining the technical feasibility of consultants requirement concepts and outlining potential implementation challenges.
• Attending design workshops to record data sources and clarify technical feasibility
• Supporting consultants in creating design concepts that outline how requirements are technically implemented.
• Implementing requirements using Microsoft tech stack in accordance with the chosen architectural approach.
• Handover of the implemented solutions to the consultants.
• Supporting the consultancy team with acceptance-test processes with clients.
• Mentoring junior developers.
• Identifying new technologies for use in projects.
• Making continuous improvements to the team s BI standards and best practices.

Requirements

In order to be successful in this role, we believe a candidate should possess the following:

• Experience working in project-based development environments, ideally paired with commercial acumen.
• Solid experience working as a software developer or data engineer with strong Python and SQL knowledge.
• Experience with the following Azure cloud services and BI technologies: Microsoft PowerBI, Databricks, Azure synapses, Datafactory, Data Lake. Dax would be a plus.
• Expertise working with relational and multidimensional data modelling.
• Working knowledge of SSIS, SSRS and SSAS, as well as proper workflow design and exception management.
• Experience connecting ERP systems and interpreting their data (AX2012, D365 F&O, Navision, Business Central)
