The primary responsibility is validation of multiple ECU control software features in a Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) Simulation environment for early software builds. This position will also perform software validation in prototype vehicles for software releases closer to production during peak testing times.
- Work closely with software developers to create hardware in the loop (HIL)-specific test cases to determine proper function of the Control software
- Configure and validate DTC and DID, Diagnostic testing on HIL
- Develop procedures to test Diagnostics.
- Test procedure execution and program ownership for HIL Testing
- Verify stability and performance under various vehicle operating conditions
- Work closely with calibration engineers and software engineers to troubleshoot software issues
- Perform interaction across multiple suppliers /Software provider for query/issue resolution
- Maintain HIL system operation with updates to interface models, system hardware, user interfaces, and test automation as required
- Flash, configure, and test ECU control software as needed in prototype vehicles.
