1. Ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice based platforms.

2. Core development experience in large scale enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework.

3. Work with development teams and develop and good understanding of the current software design.

4. Strong understanding of microservice architecture.

5. Proficiency in the following general areas: Java (Java 1.8/11), Spring Framework, Jenkins, Gradle, and GitHub.

6. Experience with RESTful services, AWS.

7. Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases.

8. Demonstrates strong understanding of the business needs driving the projects.

Bachelors Degree in computer science/engineering.

• 7+ years of experience in IT and a good blend of both Architecture and software development knowledge of enterprise systems.
• Strong Communication & interpersonal skills: Communicates effectively at developer levels.
• Strong knowledge of software with Spring components such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
• Strong coding background, able to pick up and understand troubleshoot, developed code.
• Familiar with industry standard continuous integration (CI/CD) pipeline using tools such as Jenkins, and Git for build automation.
• Strong familiarity with Maven & Groovy scripts for automation.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS and Docker.
• Excellent understanding of algorithms, data structures, performance optimization techniques, and object-oriented programming.
• Ability to investigate and debug problems if/when they occur across multiple code bases.
