Job Description

The VP-level candidate will be required to work closely with the Finance teams to perform data analysis related to the development of feeds, applications, and reports. The candidate must have strong design and analysis skills to ensure the deliverables are comprehensive and intuitive. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and experience as a client facing representative. Additionally, the candidate must understand the Software Development Lifecycle and the process necessary to perform effective change management.



He/she/they will:


Implement processes which conform to process standard, guidelines and best practices

Possess a good functional knowledge of the activities related to Regulatory Reporting, Risk & Compliance.

Partner with cross functional teams such as Finance, Risk, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Ambition, Data Quality and Chief Data Office.

Lead the creation and documentation of internal processes that support the CFIT functions.

Develop functional requirements based on BRD reviews and validation.

Assist in the development of procedure controls and regular review.

Manage deliverables and timelines for all initiatives under their responsibility.

Review deliverables and ensure that change control procedures are properly followed.

Escalate issues impacting the business in a clear concise and timely manner.

Coordinate and liaise with local and Head Office IT on behalf of local users, ensuring that subject matter experts and stakeholders are appropriately engaged.

Make recommendations to improve effectiveness and overall process efficiency.

Ensure that all issues/alerts are coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked, resolved, and appropriately documented.

Provide clear and concise project reporting to USIT management.

Meet regularly with their team to give and receive feedback, status, and insight.

Provide input and supporting documents and status for steerco meetings as required.

Serveas a business process specialist interfacing with technology & business on control solutions and leading the planning and execution of the project phases.

Foster collaboration between the teams, the business and local and global colleagues.

Think strategically to better support the changing business needs.

Coordinate testing & validation of specific features/releases as needed.


Collaborate with various functional teams to achieve required business results.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

BS/MS in Finance, Business or Computer Science.
Minimum 3 -5 years experience with a financial service organization.
Good functional knowledge of Global Markets and Global Finance business.
Experience with Axiom regulatory reporting, Trade booking systems, GL systems, Jira, Confluence, Xray, developing and interpreting regulatory specifications, designing, implementing, and/or assessing risk and compliance processes, understanding of the systems implementation lifecycle pursuant to the business needs, and with multiple types of analyses: current state operating model, data reconciliation, quality review, workflow analysis, process improvement, strategic vision, and functional requirements.
Experience in Financial and/or Regulatory organizations
Strong SQL skills using Sybase databases, Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Experience with requirements gathering
Experience with predictive and prescriptive data analytics, to include regression analysis and simulation.
