Sourcing Manager
Summary
initially reporting to the VP of Global Strategic Sourcing, the Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing position will be based at Aristocrat Office in Macquarie Park Sydney or Summerlin Las Vegas and will be responsible for Global efforts to drive strategic sourcing initiatives relating to and supplier management for
Aristocrat Global Supply Chain. As a member of Aristocrats Direct Sourcing team, the incumbent will be responsible for managing suppliers of key commodities by setting strategies, driving, measuring, and reporting on supplier
performance requirements and timelines to meet sourcing deliverables. The roles core focuses include identifying risks, developing, and implementing sourcing initiatives to develop suppliers and improve performance by influencing suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive change, communicating effectively to the global internal teams and the suppliers, sub-tier suppliers in a multi-level global supply chain.
The position will interact frequently with the broader Global Supply Chain (GSC), Regional Integration Centres, Design and Development (D&D), Quality and various business units and affiliates across the global organisation and will have the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels of the organisation.
Further engaging various suppliers including their leadership teams and managing oversight of supplier deliverables pertaining to the supplier management. The successful candidate will manage and govern the scope of the strategic sourcing efforts and be responsible for supplier performance, due diligence of existing and new suppliers.

What We're Looking For
Strong influencing skills and the ability to articulate a process, its inputs and outputs.
Ability to manage challenging suppliers with unique problems.
Ability to manage up and down the supply chain.
Strong experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines.
Experience in product or process definition, having taken a product or process from concept to
execution within the supply chain.
Demonstrated experience in sourcing commodity management, supply chain, logistics or
manufacturing for hardware and electronics related company.
Experience in commercial sourcing environment - engineering, manufacturing operations
experience a plus
Prioritization and timing considerations for key deliverables
Advanced analytical interpretation and problem-solving skills
Ability to provide technical leadership, coupled with people and project management skills.
An individual who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic culture
An ability to work independently with sometimes high levels of ambiguity.
