Sr. Statutory Accountant - Florida
If you have around 5 solid years, or more, of P&C insurance carrier yellow book, NAIC filings, reinsurance accounting and live or work in the Greater Tampa Bay area of Florida or.........want to relocate there...........respond to me here.
I have a P&C insurance carrier looking to make an immediate hire - Sr Statutory Accountant. They are A rated and boast a great culture with upward advancement.
Requires P&C insurance carrier accounting experience of around 5 years. A CPA or work toward a CPA certification is a plus. Should bring some familiarity with GAAP.
This opportunity has a 10% target bonus, 401K, dental/vision, HSA, FSA, and generous PTO.
Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
NAIC, regulatory, quarterly and annual statement filings
supporting FP&A
reinsurance reports oversight
financial controls and workflow oversight
A/P, A/R, cash and reconciliation
possibility of assisting in tax and investment reporting
