Job Description

We are currently seeking an EMR Administrator to work at our 400 Broadway location

Position Summary: The EMR Administrator is a member of the Department of Population Health and will be responsible for optimizing the utilization and maintenance of the organizations electronic health record system improving the delivery of patient care and enhancing the quality of data. The EMR Administrator will act as an internal liaison for end users by providing assistance and training on the functionalities of the EHR. Serve as the point-of-contact coordinating ticket requests and troubleshooting EHR-related issues. The individual will work with internal and external teams on EHR system upgrades, workflow enhancement requests, implementations, system configurations, maintain test environments improving usability of the system.

Qualifications: Associate Degree in healthcare, human services, computer science, or related field or equivalent work experiences in related field Required; 3-5 years experience with an electronic health record preferred. (eClinicalWorks strongly preferred); Certified in eClinicalWorks a plus; Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, applications including Work, Excel, PowerPoint required ; Strong technical and problem-solving skills; Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills required; Ability to work independently and in a team environment; Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload; Ability to stand, walk or sit for an extended period of time; Ability to hear within normal range; Strong verbal, walk or sit for an extended period of time; Ability to see within normal range; Extended period time at a computer; Noise level is moderate.
