Maintenance Mechanic - St. Thomas

Position Description:
Troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, service and repair mechanical/hydraulic and electric equipment.
Responsible to perform maintenance and repair on robots and presses.
Troubleshoot; perform preventive maintenance, service, program and repair, robots, mechanical/hydraulic and electric equipment.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have several years experience in a stamping environment with 5 10 years of mechanical press maintenance experience.
Repair/maintain/inspect/modify designed machinery/equipment.
Complete PM as assigned by Leadership.
Trouble shooting equipment in need of repairs and for system improvements.
Robotic experience would be helpful.
Ensure that repairs meet all standards of work requirements and are completed quickly and efficiently.
Follows and adheres to requirements of current customer quality and environmental management systems standards.
Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
Problem resolution skills a must.
Candidate must have exceptional organizational, reporting and communication skills.
Ability to work with minimal to no supervision an asset.
Must be able to work shift work.
Licensed Millwright is an asset.

Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Union

Location: St. Thomas, ON

Compensation: $36.25 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. There is a $0.50 per hour Shift Premium when working Afternoons. Uniforms are required and are paid for by the Company.

Schedule: Shift Rotation (Days/Afternoons), Occasional Overtime, On-Call.
