Solution Architect

Description:

As a member of the Digital Vault engineering team, the Solutions Architect, will help customers build solutions using the Digital Vault platform by providing design and architecture guidance, example code, and documentation. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints. Design and Implementation experience with Microsoft Azure services including IoT Hub, Event Hub, and Cosmos DB required.

Qualification:

• Ability to elicit requirements, underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet bold timelines with optimal solutions


• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for program success


• Strong written skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical analyses and results to business management


• Strong Programming skills in C# or Java, and at least one additional language such as Python, Perl, R, Ruby, Scala, or server-side Javascript


• Experience with SQL and multiple Relational Database Management Systems with non-trivial databases


• Experience with graph store, document store and heterogeneous data indexing such as CosmosDB, DocumentDB


• Experience with API Development including REST, ODATA, GraphQL


• Experience developing web application with Angular, Node.js, TypeScript


• Experience with distributed high scale messaging in the context of IoT including Azure IoT Hub, Event Hub


• Hands-on experience with public clouds such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services


• Demonstrable knowledge and skills with security, authentication, and authorization in distributed systems and the web
