Job Description
Job Title: Healthcare Regulatory-Full Time Opportunity
Location: Chicago, Naperville, Downers Grove, Springfield or any IL HCSC location
Job Type: Hybrid(3 days in the office and 2 days remote)
BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for leading the IL State plan in network regulatory and accreditation agencies policy/process, reviews and execution planning. Work across the state plans leaders to align policy strategy with execution roadmap to ensure constant alignment with changing demands of the marketplace, and regulatory and legislative requirements. Oversee the Affordable Care Act Patient Protections regulatory program and work streams including budget, resources and monitoring delivery by business leads. Manage staff supporting state review and execution of network policies and planning
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*Bachelor Degree and 7 years' experience with health care regulatory operations OR 11 years health care regulatory operations experience
*Experience interpreting regulations. Knowledge of health insurance, health care operations and federal health care reform
*Written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills to work across the organization and work with leadership
*People management experience including budgets and resource management
*Able to work within a very fast paced, quickly evolving organization and manage multiple, complex priorities
*Analytical, project management, and problem solving skills.
