Job Description
Position: Project Manager
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Lacey, Washington (Onsite from day1)
Required areas of expertise:
- Project management skills
- MS Project or similar project management software
- Managing projects with schedules that are resource-based and dependency driven
- Writing clear, concise and thorough project plans
- Project management certification, such as PMP or PRINCE2
Desired expertise/experience:
- Experience leading projects in a government setting
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Information Services, Computer Science, or related degree
- IT project management experience
- Leading legacy system conversion to COTS solution
- Managing a project with Washington State Office of the Chief Information Officer oversight
- Navigating Washington State Security Design Review and Secure Access Washington integration
- Managing or directing a project with multiple vendors, coordinating activities with several vendor project managers
- Coordinating Organizational Change Management activities
