Job Description
Position: Business analyst
Duration: 11 Months
Location: Lacey, Washington (Onsite from day1)
Required areas of expertise:
- Facilitating requirements gathering sessions with business users and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business, IT, organizational, and/or operational requirements
- Analyzing current vs. future state by using process modeling techniques
- Analyzing current and requested system functionality to identify risks and gaps and provide alternate solutions
- Applying BABOK techniques
- Communicating technical information to audiences with various technical knowledge
- Preparing requirement and specification documentation
- Translating business and functional requirements and specifications into technical requirements
- Translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience as a business analyst working with multiple departments in a large organization
- Creation and maintenance of BABOK framework deliverables
Desired expertise/experience:
- Expert knowledge using SPARX Enterprise or similar
- Experience in Unified Modeling Language version 2
- Bachelor's Degree in business analysis OR hold one of the following certifications: PMI-PBA, IIBA CCBA, IIBA CBAP
- Certification as Lean Six Sigma green belt or higher
- Six or more years serving as a business analyst within an Enterprise organization
