Job Description

Position: Business analyst

Duration: 11 Months

Location: Lacey, Washington (Onsite from day1)

Required areas of expertise:

  • Facilitating requirements gathering sessions with business users and stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business, IT, organizational, and/or operational requirements
  • Analyzing current vs. future state by using process modeling techniques
  • Analyzing current and requested system functionality to identify risks and gaps and provide alternate solutions
  • Applying BABOK techniques
  • Communicating technical information to audiences with various technical knowledge
  • Preparing requirement and specification documentation
  • Translating business and functional requirements and specifications into technical requirements
  • Translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Experience as a business analyst working with multiple departments in a large organization
  • Creation and maintenance of BABOK framework deliverables

Desired expertise/experience:

  • Expert knowledge using SPARX Enterprise or similar
  • Experience in Unified Modeling Language version 2
  • Bachelor's Degree in business analysis OR hold one of the following certifications: PMI-PBA, IIBA CCBA, IIBA CBAP
  • Certification as Lean Six Sigma green belt or higher
  • Six or more years serving as a business analyst within an Enterprise organization
