Your responsibilities
As Systemadministrator (m/f/x) - Windows within the IT Operations team at Travelcircus you will serve primarily to curate, refine, maintain, and improve standards and related systems for Travelcircus s employees. Your primary tasks in this position will be to architect and troubleshoot all office IT related systems and software, to ensure functionality for all employees.
Things you will work on
- You are responsible for the development, maintenance, monitoring and documentation of our IT systems
- You take care of the administration of windows servers and clients and ensure flawless operation of networks and workstations
- You improve and automate the provisioning and maintenance processes for workstations
- You will manage central user accounts and computer settings in the active directory
- You maintain storage and backup systems
- You provide guidance and training of colleagues
- You offer first- and second-level support for 75+ employees and handle on- and offboarding processes

Your profile
- You have an associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration or a closely related field or equivalent experience
- Your mindset is clearly service-oriented and in the same time analytical
- You have strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware and networking protocols
- You are proficient in Windows administration and client management
- You are experienced in scripting and automation tools
- You have experience with remote support
- You know how to implement and effectively develop helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
- You like to work independently or with minimal supervision
- You communicate effectively both orally and in writing to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
