Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible to draft basic documents like P&ID s, Wiring diagrams, layouts etc and other
project related documents for various Flowserve Projects as per contract against specific customer order.
Individual is required to coordinate with Design engineers to ensure overall quality and on time delivery of
customer submittals.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- To understand and revise various instrumentation documents like P&IDs, Wirings, and other basic
documents using Autodesk products, SMAP 3D, and Microsoft tools.
- Knowledge of creating the project documents like instrument lists, I/O lists, etc. using Microsoft tools.
- Experience in INtools software and ISA standards for the Creation of Instrument Datasheets for various
instruments like Pressure, Temperature, Level, and vibration will be preferable.
- To Understand and be able to read the project documents and support the Engineers in the team to update
electrical and instrumentation documents related to various projects.
- Knowledgeable in the creation of a Bill of materials (BOM) related to Instrumentation and controls would be
an added advantage.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate with 1 year of experience or Diploma with min 2 years of experience in Instrumentation Engineering
or Electrical Electronics Engineering with knowledge of Instrumentation/Electrical engineering preferably from
pump / rotary equipment Industry.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES:
- Strong fundamentals of Instrumentation, and Electrical Engineering.
- Awareness of International standards related to Electrical & Instrumentation (ASME, ANSI, API, ISA, IEC).
- Excellent analytical, creative, and Interpersonal skills.
- A high level of self motivation, flexibility, and self learning aptitude.
- Good team player and able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities
