We will count on you to:


The Finance Analyst reports to the Senior Manager Investment Services (Finance and Reporting) and is responsible for sub-advisors fee reports, expense recoveries, buy sell spreads, client reporting and RG 97 Fees and Cost disclosure calculation, and ensuring prompt resolution of related issues - for both Australian and New Zealand Mercer funds.

The Investment Services Finance Analyst will utilise their strong communication and stakeholder management skills to resolve queries and escalations with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including investment managers, custodians and auditors, representing Mercer with the highest standard of professionalism at all times.

Key responsibilities include:
Working through new Manager fees as part of the BT onboard. This could see up to 60 new managers which need to be analysed, data logged/collated, and new invoicing established (configuration).
Working through manager spreads and unit pricing data to ensure daily feed up into Mercers Unit Pricing check is accurate.
Taking profitability and cost of manufacture queries from the business on new managers


What you need to have:

Strong understanding of financial markets and investment management processes, including the drivers behind market movements and knowledge of asset manager processes.
Finance experience (2+ years) from a funds management background required
Tertiary qualification and/or industry specific qualification such as a finance degree or other equivalent university qualification
Good organisational and excel skills are a must.
