The Emerging Market Sales Representative will help us grow our presence in the Atlanta market. They will ownthe customer experience and workwith the city's most talented chefs, restaurateurs, cafes, offices, and hotels to design, implement, and maintain coffee programs that meet La Colombe's standard of excellence. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, able to develop trusting relationships, and most importantly, is a team player with a roll-up your sleeves mentality.





What you will do:





Develop and qualify prospective outbound wholesale partners, adding new qualified business to the region. Manage these relationships to produce win-win outcomes for clients and La Colombe Coffee.




Actively consult new and existing clients to create or maintain consistent, high-quality coffee programs that are in line with La Colombe's standards.




Qualify all incoming leads in a prompt and professional manner. Follow-up accordingly.




Work closely with the South Regional Sales Director to develop and implement a high-growth, diversified sales strategy for the region.




Own the onboarding process and experience from beginning to end for new wholesale clients. Provide comprehensive hands-on training, product presentations, and continuing education for groups of all sizes.




Manage a portfolio of legacy accounts, allocating company resources appropriately to fulfill the client's needs. Proactively work with the local distributor to help maintain existing business and win new business.







Develop ownership of relationships with key hospitality professionals.




Participate in coffee related events (including trade shows), and seek out new coffee products, equipment, and industry trends.


What You Will Need





A self-starter, a quick learner, and will have the ability to efficiently manage various responsibilities while keeping management informed.




3 years of sales or account management experience in the specialty coffee industry or a related industry




Passionate about coffee and hospitality.




Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.




Enjoys interacting with clients and building relationships




Eagerness to grow as a coffee professional.




Experience with microsoft/google suite (excel, word, powerpoint or equivalents)




Occasionally work non-traditional hours and weekends and lifting, moving, and/or carrying coffee equipment







Experience with CRM and data software (Hubspot, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) is preferred.
