Quality Assurance Engineer (gn)

Your mission

Wandelbots develops an easy-to-use software platform that enables its users to easily program any robot. As part of the quality assurance team, you will be responsible for the design, development and execution of software tests which verify that our software meets the business and product requirements, along with improving and implementing test methods and procedures. As a Quality Assurance Engineer @Wandelbots,

• You contribute to the whole development cycle including the design, development, and deployment of the software.

• You develop and improve our QA processes and workflows.

• You are a part of one of our application teams which tackle industry applications e.g., welding, gluing, and abrasive technologies.

• You bring a user mindset and aim to improve the user experience of our product.

• You serve as a bridge between users and the development team of our product.

• You are the main point of contact regarding quality and testing related topics for the team.

• You assist the team with test strategy, test execution, defect analysis and test reporting.

• You coach the team about testing and shared responsibility for quality.

Your profile

• You have at least 3 years of experience in software testing working with mobile applications.
• You have experience maintaining a bug database and understanding the customer impact.
• Your risk management & bug prioritisation skills are very good.
• You have good understanding of the system specifications.
• You are familiar with the full software life cycle.
• You are familiar with tools for test management and bug tracking (e.g. Jira, Confluence) and you understand how to report issues, maintain test cases, etc.
• You have a strong attention to detail.
• Your communication and documentation skills are excellent.
• Friends say about you that you are a team player, open, passionate, and ambitious.
• Your colleagues say about you that you are a creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, you work self-initiated and reliably.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• You have experience working in an agile environment.

You are awesome if (nice-to-have):

• You have knowledge about or experience working in the robotics field.
• You have scripting/coding experience.
• You also speak German.
