Senior General Accountant

Our Tyler, Texas area client, a stable and well-managed private company, is in need of a solid general accountant to join their team. Candidates need experience, well-rounded general accountant with several years of "hands-on" accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for incoming reporting from several associated entities, together with downloading and creating reports


• Perform a broad mix of general accounting: reconciliations, GL, financial statements


• Assist management with creating specialized reports and spreadsheets

Requirements and characteristics

• Critical thinking, analytical skills and proven tenure are a must


• Several years of broad general accounting experience


• QuickBooks experience is preferred, as well as MS Officeespecially advanced Excel


• A professional demeanor, ethical with a strong moral compass


• Honesty, dependability, excellent communication skills and a team player attitude


• At least a BBA in accounting (possibly finance or business with strong accounting)
